Dr. Niki Tsironis is a historian – Byzantinist. She is working at the Institute of Historical Research of the National Hellenic Research Foundation. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of London and she is an Associate in Byzantine Studies at the Centre for Hellenic Studies of Harvard University. She is also the founding member of AINOS Cultural Society. and Marie Blanche Library. She is collaborating with Harvard University, the University of Oxford, the University of Winchester, and other research centres.

Dr. Tsironis contributes with her expertise on subjects relating to the Archives' research activities.

Elif Ayiter is a digital designer working mostly in Second Life and Open Sim Virtual environments. She is a faculty member at the Dep. of Visual Arts &
Visual Communication Design of Sabanci University, Istanbul, She holds an MFA form Pratt Institute and a PhD from Plymouth University. 

She was the editor-in-chief of the Metaverse Creativity Journal with Intellect publishers in the UK and has also published  in many well-known Academic journals. She has also participated in many exhibitions, while she is the CEO of the SL fashion store 'alpha tribe'. 

Dr. Elif Ayiter

Digital Design Advisor

Dr. Elif Ayiter supports Karoussos Archives with her expertise in virtual environments and digital design.

Cleopatra Karoussos holds a bachelor degree in Political Sciences and International Relationships from Panteion University, a bachelor degree in National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, and a master's degree in Applied Linguistics from the Hellenic American University. language.

She is a former PRO in Governor's office at the National Bank of Greece- Division of public relations and Interpretation and a CEO in Recruitment and Staff rotation Department -National Bank of Greece.

Head of Public Relations

Mrs Karoussos is responsible for leading outward PR strategies and plans that promote Karoussos Archives initiatives

Ellie Koniaris holds a bachelor degree in National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, faculty of philosophy, an Master's degree in International & European Policies in Education, Training & Research from the University of Piraeus and a master's degree in Marketing from the Brunel University. She is also teaching Modern Greek Literature and Classics, specialised in speech production

Mrs Koniaris supports Karoussos Archives by ensuring that the educational programmes meet quality standards.

Fotis Samakas holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens. His is specialised in site supervision and managing of electromechanical works for private and public building constructions and in Health and Safety Plan, as an authorised professional. His portfolio includes mega-scale construction projects such as the ELVAL Tandem project at ElvalHalcor S.A. (Hellenic Alluminium Industry),  the Facilities for the Electrical Connection of Italy and Greece in Arachtos Voltage Conversion Station (Aias S.A), New Athens Airport (Techniki Olympiaki -Mochlos S.A., Vari-Laurio Line Electrical Connection (National Electricity Company [DEI] and others.

Fotis Samakas

Executive Engineer

Mr. Samakas supports Karoussos Archives in regards to technical reports and projects as well as to the Health and Safety Plan.

Harry Karoussos is a financial analyst working mostly in Applied Financial Econometrics, Financial Modelling, and Foreign Exchange Trading. He is currently a senior consultant at Deloitte.  

Harry served as president of Deree’s “Model United Nations” Club, while he has participated as a delegate in various MUNs in Greece and abroad. 

He has an advanced level in excel-based applications of financial evaluation, and sensitivity analysis and he is well-qualified in Public speaking.
