A Summer of Arty Spririts
Four legendary painters and their favourite drinks compose the themes of five nights in the magnificent ambiance of the Karoussos Center. Each of these nights, the Center turns into the bars, cafes, and bistros loved by the artists. From the fabled 'La Fée Verte' inn where the painters drank absinthe to the 'Folies-Bergère' bar, Manet's inspiration for his famous painting, the spirits lifted the artists' spirits. The four Arty Spirits Night transforms the visitor's spirit into epochs when creativity, joy, and intelligence are the ingredients of a fulfilled life.

Under the June full moon and in Marseille of Peloponnese, guests sat at the legendary bistro "La Fee Verte" and tasted the Green Fairy (absinthe), Van Gogh's favorite. On the "Starry Night" of June, when the artist painted this famous work, with the sounds of the Belle Époque, visitors enjoyed an evening on the Blue Coast of the Peloponnese, overlooking the Messinian Riviera.

On July 15th, the Karoussos Center was transformed into the historic inn 'The Colombe D'Or,' which will welcome guests in a stunning Mediterranean Riviera setting. Guests enjoyed the Riviera environment while drinking Picasso's Sangria like they are in Cote d'Azur, where Picasso stayed with the early 20s artistic elite, including Henry Matisse, Joan Miro, Marc Chagall, Jean-Paul Satre, Simone de Beauvoir, Brigitte Bardot, and Yves Montand. Guests also learned about Picasso, the ceramist.

On August 15, the Karoussos Centre transformed into "La Casa Azoul," Frida Kahlo's "blue house," to welcome guests to the artist's cultural universe.
Guests sipped margaritas while learning about Kahlo's colourful life and emotional grandeur. They discovered the artist's vivid, fresh, and optimistic side when they viewed and tasted her watermelons, a symbol of fertility and immortality.

To celebrate the arrival of winter, the Mahala Bar in Karoussos Center turns into The Folies-Bergère bar, echoing Manet's masterpiece, A Night at Folies-Bergère. Suzon, the bartender in Manet's painting, serves champagne in a Belle Époque mood with the accompaniment of salon music.
